JoAnn Cawood

JoAnn, a native of Maine, has lived in Long Point (with Roy) almost since its beginning. She retired (due to medical issues) from the Hampton Roads Economic Development Alliance in 2005, as the VP of Investor Relations and Administration. The “CPO Anchor” was hoisted up to end the Navy adventure after 21+ years. The former time management fanatic is totally disorganized now and cannot fathom how she accomplished so much when she worked 50+ hours a week, commuted to Norfolk every day, maintained the homestead and still had a little time for fun projects. Now, she volunteers for the League, cares for her immediate family in Maine; supports her close friends, enjoys her home, yard and her version of Garfield – Casey, the Maine Coon Cat.
