Who are we?
Welcome to Long Point! We are a neighborhood of 540 single family homes and town homes located in the Churchland area of Portsmouth, close to the Hoffler's Creek Wildlife Preserve. Our neighborhood is approximately 27 years old, and features a beautiful manmade lake providing waterfront property for several of the homes. Long Point has an active Civic League that works to improve the quality of life for our residents. Our recent initiatives include sponsoring a Members Only Block Party, hosting a National Night-Out event and working to provide a quality Neighborhood Watch Program. We publish the Long Point Ledger newsletter and hold our Civic League Meetings at St. Mark's Church on the third Thursday beginning in January and quarterly thereafter (April, July, and October) at 7:30 PM. We are committed to keeping our residents involved and informed! Come be a part and take a look around. We think you will agree that great things are happening in Long Point!
